India–Japan CEPA

In force since 2011, this CEPA now covers over 90% of bilateral trade and anchors a USD 25+ billion partnership. In March 2026, the 7th CEPA Joint Committee in Tokyo focused on deeper market access and upgrades for digital tech, clean energy, and EV supply chains.

India–EU Free Trade Agreement

India and the EU have concluded a historic FTA giving over 99% of Indian exports preferential access to 27 high-income member states, unlocking INR 6.41 lakh crore (USD 75 billion) in exports for MSMEs, women, and young professionals.

India–UAE CEPA 2022

Preferential access to ~99% of India's exports to the UAE, boosting competitiveness for gems, textiles, pharma, and engineering goods. UAE's re-export hub role further unlocks Gulf, African, and European markets for Indian MSMEs.

India–Canada CEPA

This CEPA is more than a trade deal; it’s a strategic shift. With current trade at $8.66B and a target of $50B by 2030 , this agreement is not just about trade; it’s about strategic alignment in critical sectors like minerals, agriculture, and technology.

Services: India's Growth Engine

India's services sector contributes over half of GVA. Average export growth rose from 7.6% pre-pandemic to 14% in FY23–FY25, with the sector expanding 9.1% in FY26 on the back of IT, tourism, media, and space services.

India–Brazil Steel Partnership

India and Brazil signed a landmark MoU spanning mineral exploration, processing, recycling, and AI-driven geoscientific analysis. With India's capacity at 218 MT per annum, the partnership targets resource security and tech collaboration.
