India today is home to 𝟏,𝟖𝟎𝟎 𝐆𝐂𝐂𝐬 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟏.𝟗 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬, 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 $𝟔𝟎 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 to the economy — a powerful testament to its growing leadership in global enterprise transformation.

Sustainable commerce is transforming the world economy with a major focus on green trade and eco-friendly innovation. The latest insights reveal that green products now make up 15% of global exports, renewable energy equipment exports grew 18% year-on-year, and electric vehicle components are leading among the fastest-growing export categories worldwide. The circular economy has created a $500 billion trade segment, while global green investments surged to $1.8 trillion in 2024. Additionally, over 90 WTO members have committed to climate-aligned trade policies, reflecting a strong policy shift toward sustainability.

With exports worth US $7.38 billion, the state leads the nation, contributing 32% of India’s total seafood exports. AP’s seafood exports are a testament to world-class aquaculture and trade strength. Notably, the state accounts for over 20 % of India’s seafood export volume, while commanding a 32 % share by value. 
And it is the country’s largest shrimp-producing region, supplying the majority of India’s frozen-shrimp export basket—an asset that underpins its global competitiveness.

𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐡𝐫𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐬, anchoring its place as a true hub of innovation and manufacturing in India, where the three industrial corridors are:

• 𝐕𝐂𝐈𝐂 – India's first coastal industrial belt.
• 𝐇𝐁𝐈𝐂 – Orvakal node driving tech & manufacturing.
• 𝐂𝐁𝐈𝐂 – Krishnapatnam node enabling global trade.

Andhra Pradesh’s port power is rewriting India’s east coast trade! Krishnapatnam, Gangavaram, and Kakinada handled an impressive 117.62 million metric tonnes in FY 2022-23, operating at 66% of capacity. Krishnapatnam alone moved 37.79 million tons in November 2024, supported by its vast 10,835-acre industrial zone. Gangavaram managed 27.8 million tonnes, with capacity for ships up to 200,000 DWT. Kakinada boasted 15.18 million tonnes cargo in 2021.

India and the UAE continue to strengthen their strategic economic partnership, with bilateral trade crossing 𝐔𝐒𝐃 𝟕𝟎𝐁, making the UAE India’s 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 trading partner. Backed by CEPA, 𝟗𝟎% of Indian exports enjoy duty-free access. Looking ahead, both nations are set to reach 𝐔𝐒𝐃 𝟏𝟎𝟎𝐁 in non-oil trade by 2030 - a testament to this thriving collaboration.

Global AI skilling is emerging as a critical driver of workforce and economic growth. Finland’s Elements of AI has trained over 𝟏𝐌 learners worldwide, while Vietnam is preparing 𝟓,𝟎𝟎𝟎+ AI specialists by 2030 through academia–industry partnerships. India’s ₹𝟏𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐞 IndiaAI Mission is fueling compute, startups, and talent development, and the World Economic Forum’s Reskilling Revolution aims to upskill 𝟏 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 people globally.
