World Trade Center (WTC) Shamshabad & Visakhapatnam collaborated with the International Startup Festival (ISF) 2024 in Hyderabad, forming a pivotal partnership to boost innovation and growth in India's startup ecosystem. The festival, spanning three days, attracted entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders from across the globe, with a particular focus on sectors like agritech, healthcare, AI, and deep-tech solutions.

On the third day of the festival, WTC Shamshabad & Visakhapatnam exchanged a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ISF. This MoU solidifies the strategic partnership between the two entities, positioning them as key players in fostering a robust international startup ecosystem. The collaboration aims to provide significant support to startups by enhancing trade opportunities, global connectivity, and facilitating key partnerships between Indian startups and international markets.

The objective of the MoU is to establish WTC Shamshabad & Visakhapatnam as the “International Ecosystem Enabler” for ISF, while ISF will be recognized as WTC’s “EcoSystem Partner.” Both parties will mutually promote each other’s initiatives and events, using shared branding in marketing materials, both online and offline. Additionally, WTC Shamshabad & Visakhapatnam will prioritize startups from ISF for inclusion in their global trade missions, including high-profile programs like SelectUSA Tech, London Tech Week, and Toronto’s Soft Landing & Land and Expand initiative..

The MoU also outlines a commitment to feature top-performing startups from ISF 2024 in various media channels after a jury panel evaluates the submissions. WTC Shamshabad & Visakhapatnam will facilitate global market access for these startups, helping them expand internationally by leveraging WTC’s global network across 320 centers in over 100 countries.

This partnership underscores WTC Shamshabad & Visakhapatnam’s mission to enhance international trade and support SMEs and startups by providing them with platforms for global connectivity and growth opportunities. By collaborating with ISF, WTC is positioned to play a central role in nurturing a thriving startup ecosystem, contributing to the larger goal of economic development in India and globally.
