Drug Discovery & Development Workshop

FABA Academy and University of Hyderabad in partnership with World Trade Center Shamshabad - India and World Trade Center Visakhapatnam - India is conducting a virtual workshop on Drug Discovery & Development from 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟭𝟯𝘁𝗵 - 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟬𝟮𝗻𝗱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯.

This comprehensive workshop aims to provide participants with an opportunity to learn about different aspects of drug discovery and development, including drug repurposing with an emphasis on drugs for Covid-19, and intellectual property.

In addition to lectures, the workshop includes hands-on training modules in computational structure-based drug design, machine learning for biomedical drug discovery, genomics, and transcriptomics. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn from the experience of successful biotech and pharma startups.

Drug discovery and development require the collaboration of multidisciplinary experts in chemistry, biology, computational science, statistics, pharmacology, clinical sciences, and more. This workshop will cover the entire process, starting with target identification and validation, molecular modeling and drug design, and pre-clinical development, including drug metabolism, PK & PD studies.
